Kitchen Refit — Cream Gloss Units and Metro Tiles

A long, narrow galley kitchen stripped out and refitted from the floor up. Same room, same view down to the back door:

What the video shows: the job from start to finish in under a minute. It opens on the old kitchen, then follows the strip-out, units being carried in and fixed, the oven measured in, worktops cut, fitted and checked with a spirit level, and the extractor going up. It ends with a walk-round of the finished kitchen and the Lala Builders logo.

Before

The old kitchen had been worn down over the years: pine units with doors missing, a mosaic splashback, a laminate worktop and an old grey tiled floor. The plan was to take it all out and start again with a brighter, cleaner look.

The work

Once the old kitchen was stripped out, the new floor went down first: large rectangular tiles in a light grey-white, laid in a staggered pattern down the full length of the room. Then the units went in, run off the plans and checked for level as each one was fixed.

The finished kitchen

Cream gloss handleless units now run down both sides, with stone-effect worktops, an inset sink, a gas hob and a built-in oven. A stainless chimney extractor sits over the hob, the walls are tiled in cream metro tiles, and a tall wall unit at the end adds plenty of storage without crowding the room.

Full job: strip out, floor tiling, kitchen fit, worktops, wall tiling and appliance installation.
